Sam Taylor

Growing up in southern Sydney, Sam excelled and enjoyed sports and science at school making physiotherapy the perfect career choice. Since graduating from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Master of Physiotherapy, his clinical experience has been both diverse and complex. He is well versed in treating neurological conditions, having worked in a neurological rehabilitation specialty team within a public hospital. Further, he is a highly accomplished musculoskeletal practitioner who has spent most of his career in the private sector and has worked within elite sports. He is an ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning coach, has dry needling qualifications and has completed numerous shoulder, hip and lower back courses to broaden his skill set.

Sam’s real intrigue lies in the realms of pain. “A system that is both wonderfully complex and fascinating to study. Fundamental for our survival but also in specific contexts, crippling beyond belief.” Sam offers not only his wealth of experience but also his holistic approach to helping those who are suffering from pain. His integration of hands-on treatment, personalised movement coaching and shared decision making empowers his clients to get back to their passions.

Outside of the clinic, he is a fiancé and a father and has (at times) an unhealthy relationship with sports. His particular favourites include golf, tri-sports and strength training.
